WitrynaGas pipes buried in wall. I've just had my living room replastered. When the old plaster was taken off there was two gas pipes buried in the wall. One to the gas fire and the other goes upstairs to the bedroom where I presume was another fire but is now capped. The wall has now got a layer of concrete & a layer of plaster on top of the pipes. This is the best place to have holes in the fire insulation. Bolting the gun safe to the wall isn’t always practical because of baseboard trim.
