WebAhhh ok, that' 30' is just a mast length restriction due to the weight/wind loading of the antenna would probably bend over a crappy 30' mast. I thought you meant height of antenna. Yes, unless you have a reasonably stiff and well guyed mast there will be problems holding that thing up at any decent height.

But I haven't any problem with this antenna whatsoever. Another important consideration when setting up a 2m/440mhz station is the coax. You can't go cheap here.
