WebFeb 11, 2024 · The artwork was part of the transfer of some of the contents of the Shire Hall in Brecon (mainly the courtroom furniture and other portraits) when the building became the home of Brecknock Museum in 1974. There is very little documentation from that time on any of the artwork that came with the transfer.
